Nature: forces in contact... or not.

Good morning everybody!

Are you strong?
Today we´re going to have a look to FORCES.  Let´s answer the question first, What is a force?

A force  makes the things move or stop, they change the shape of an object or even break it. Imagine a a stone thet crashes against a window. Perhaps it doesn´t move the window but it can break it.

To move your schoolbag you need to pull, this is another force. We are applying forces all the time. Think about it.

We are starting this topic. It is in your book, on page 18-27. Let´s get a general knowledge of it by learning some principal forces. For example: the gravity.

             1) Copy the title Forces in your notebook

             2) Make a definition for each concept. You will find on the page next to it.

  • Contact forces/ non contact forces (page 20)
  • Balanced forces/ unbalanced forces (page20)
  • Magnetism (page 22)
  • Gravity and weight (page 24)
  • Upthrust( page 26)
Recuerda usar el libro, puesto que es algo nuevo, para ayudarte. Aquí tienes dos videos que te ayudarán también.

Forces, work and energy
Push and pull forces
